Ethiopian Traditions
Ethiopians are not only coffee drinkers; they are true followers of strict coffee preparation rules that start from crop all the way to a cup. Over time this practice becomes a daily ritual in contemporary Ethiopian life. The Ethiopian coffee preparation and ceremonies are a unique cultural heritage that can't be found anywhere else in the world. These coffee ceremonies are a true display of how Ethiopia deeply cares for their cup of coffee. Growing up in Ethiopia with such culture and tradition, we have a great appreciation and love for coffee. Soon after we moved to the United States we couldn't find the type of coffee which we had become accustomed. |
